Josh's School Holidays 2015

Hi Room 5, it's me Josh. I hope that you all liked my other posts and I hope that you all like this one too. This post is all about my school holiday.

I went around the Mount three times in one week. One day they were giving away free cola!!! And free family bars of chocolate!!! It was half white and half brown. They were also giving away free sausages, frisbees, drink bottles and beach balls!!!  When we arrived at the Mount on the second day, we were in the car and saw the ice-cream van giving away free ice-cream!!!  Dad said it was too busy to stop the car and we couldn't get any ice-cream until we found a car parking space.  He finally found one but it was 2 kilometers away on the other side of the mount!  Me and Sam ran non stop for 2 kilometers until we got to the ice-cream van.  We got there just as they gave out the last ice-cream and shut all their windows.  Sam said we hadn't ran all that way for nothing.  He rapped on the window and persuaded them to re-open.  The ice cream was like a cool glass of lemonade on a hot summers day.  Sweet lemonade.  Sweet, sweet lemonade.  

Another day, we all went to the Rotorua Luge. If you have not been to the Luge, then this is what happens: you get in a box called a gondola, then you go down in a Luge and ride up in a green chair lift. Then you choose if you want to go home in a gondola or ride the luge again. There is 3 luge tracks, they are called: the Scenic track, the Intermediate track and the Advanced track. It is cool

Me, my dad and my brother Sam all went to the highest point of Pukakura near Cambridge. We walked in a field of sheep and a field of horses.  One of the horses got spooked by my Dad's umbrella and started prancing.  Sam said it looked ready to kick someone! When I was almost at the top of the hill I started to fall, I fell 3 times at the top. We had a picnic at the top.

At Christmas, we went to East Side Church to watch 'A Perfect Christmas.' It is where a teenage boy meets someone called Tim. Tim invented a machine where he could see what Christmas was like for other people, but the machine was dropped and stepped on and they were stuck in a comedy world. Luckily, Tim fixed the machine and they got back.

Me and my brother Sam went for a 4 km walk.  A cat followed us home and we gave it some of our cats kibbles and water.  Then we put it in our cat's cat carrier and took it to the vets to get it checked for a microchip. There was no microchip so we took it back to where we found it.  Two days later it somehow found its way back to our house. We did a door knock and found the owner. My dad said that we might consider getting a kitten in March because we didn't keep this cat. We have got a 13 year old boy cat called Willow. Please give a comment on how you think they'd get on, and what we could call a kitten if we got one.
